Trans Boxing: Remote Pictures by Nolan Hanson and Ada Jane McNulty is the new site-specific installation at the Cube Space located on the ground floor of the Center Street Garage on Addison Street near Milvia in the heart of the arts district in Downtown Berkeley.
For their exhibition of the Cube Space Gallery, artists Nolan Hanson and Ada Jane McNulty invite the public to view archival materials from the past year of Trans Boxing. The multimedia installation includes a portrait series, screenshots from virtual classes, and other visual material produced by participants, alongside sculptural elements which evoke the experiential and aesthetic qualities of a boxing gym.
This exhibition was organized by independent curator Leila Weefur and is on view 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through December 19, 2021. More information. (Photo by Kija Lucas)

Great news – unpaid and future rent and utilities payments are now covered at 100% through the CA Emergency Rent Relief Program. Critical eviction protections have also been extended through September 30, 2021, to help keep Californians housed. Apply today at HousingIsKey.com or call 833-430-2122.
The State of California has allocated nearly $5 billion to help people impacted by COVID-related hardships remain housed. Artists and cultural workers behind on rent and utilities can still apply for or request more rent relief. The eviction moratorium expires September 30th, and it’s important to apply for relief now before protections end.
To check eligibility, apply, or find a Local Partner Network organization who can assist you further, visit HousingIsKey.com or call 833-430-2122, toll free. Set up an appointment through the state hotline at 833-430-2122 OR call or email NCLT at 510-548-7878 - option 2 / erap@nclt.org.
