Photo Released of CVS Robbery Suspect

LOCATION: CVS Pharmacy 2100 Columbus Parkway, Benicia

INCIDENT TYPE:    Robbery

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:  White Male Adult, 20 - 25 yrs. old, 6'00" to 6'02", slender build wearing sunglasses, dark jacket, dark pants and brown in color with fur cold weather trooper hat.                                                        

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 

On February 10, 2012, Friday morning, at approximately 10:54 AM the Benicia Police Department Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a CVS employee advising that a robbery had just occurred in the Pharmacy.  The employee reported that the above described suspect presented a robbery note and demanded various types of pain medication.  The Pharmacy employee provided the suspect with various types of prescribed prescription pain medication.  The suspect took the pills and fled out the rear service door of the business with the note.  Suspect was last seen running behind local business toward the freeway.  No vehicles were seen or heard.  No weapon was seen and the suspect made no mention of a weapon.  The value of the pills is being determined.

Benicia PD Officer Aldo Serrano conducted the investigation, spoke with victim/witnesses and processed the scene for latent fingerprints.  These prints will be sent for examination and comparison in an attempt to help identify the responsible.  Closed circuit security video was obtained and police will be reviewing the film in an attempt to help identify the responsible.  NO PHOTOS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.
