Let's Have a Safe Fourth of July
Wishing Belmont a safe and fun Fourth of July! City Hall will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day and will reopen on Friday, July 5. As always, emergency services are still available.
While you eat your BBQ and relax, please consider the active heat advisory and take measures to stay cool. Increased temperatures can increase fire risk, please help keep our community safe by calling the Belmont Police Department to report illegal firework-related activity or inquire about discarding fireworks at (650) 595-7400. Remember, all fireworks (including safe and sane) are illegal in Belmont and pose a severe fire and safety risk.
