Wedding Fair in the Park Helps Locals Plan Their Happily Ever After
Wearing custom-made sashes and bridal tiaras, many brides-to-be and happy couples enjoyed last Saturday's Wedding Fair in the Park. The event included 30 local wedding vendors, including catering, photo booths, entertainment, rental companies, floral, bakeries, and more. With a fun vibe in the air, couples checked off their "to-do" list, enjoyed samples, free photos, raffles, and discount offers. Delicious food also made this event extra special. Rental facilities were open for tours and beautifully staged for decoration inspiration. With double the number of attendees and vendors this year, Wedding Fair in the Park is quickly becoming a signature event in Belmont.

Athletic & Multiuse Field Update
This year, we’ve seen another painfully extended rainy season, which has kept the City’s sports fields too wet to play on for more days than any of us would like. The parks maintenance staff continues to work diligently to ensure fields remain safe and playable, but unfortunately, Mother Nature’s whims are beyond our control. Thank you to all youth sports leagues for their patience as we weather the weather together. See the recent presentation to the City Council on this topic here.
