City of Belmont: Golden Egg Hunt

 We're back for our 2nd ever Golden Egg Hunt!

Spring is in the air, which means birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, and Belle the Bunny has hidden golden eggs at 5 very special Belmont parks! A new clue will be posted on social media by noon each day Monday April 11 through Friday, April 15. 

How to play:

1. Name your team! Give your family or group a fun, spring-themed team name. This will help us track your posts when you are sending us your photos at the 5 locations. All ages welcome!
   
   
2. Check our social media channels (IG: @BelmontParksRec, facebook.com/BelmontParksRec, twitter.com/BelmontParksRec) each day starting Monday, April 11 to read the daily clue. 
   
   
3. Go to the location you guessed and find the golden egg! 
   
   
4. Take a photo with the egg at the location (don't give too much away if you're making a public post)
   
   
5. Tag us at Belmont Parks & Recreation or Direct Message us your photos at all 5 locations by Friday, April 15 at 6pm.  All team players will receive a spring treat bag for finding all 5 golden eggs.  

These teams will also be entered to win the Golden Prize, an "egg"cellent basket filled with goodies! The Golden Prize team announcement will be posted on social media Saturday, April 16. 

Treat bags and the Golden Prize Basket may be picked up at the Parks & Recreation office Monday 4/18 until Thursday 4/21 between 8:00am-12pm or 1-5pm at 30 Twin Pines Lane, Belmont, CA 94002
