Two Arrested for Identity Theft
AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., Dec. 11, 2025 — On Wednesday, Dec. 10 at approximately 1 p.m., American Canyon police made a traffic enforcement stop on a silver Mercedes at the Safeway gas station. The vehicle had no license plates and illegal window tint. During the stop, officers learned the driver, Armonie Pugh, was on parole out of Alameda County and was recently released on a supervised bail agreement in Napa County.
Officers conducted a probation search of Pugh’s residence in American Canyon. Inside, they found multiple credit cards belonging to other individuals, a printer/scanner with blank check templates and stolen mail. Pryscilla Perez, who also lives at the residence and is also out on a supervised release bail agreement in Napa County, was contacted nearby. Officers found stolen identification and credit cards in Perez’s purse.
Both Pugh and Perez were arrested for identity theft. Perez was arrested for an additional charge of forgery. They were both booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
