Supporting Nonprofits That Make a Difference in American Canyon
We're excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Community Grant Program! This funding opportunity supports American Canyon 501(c) nonprofit organizations that contribute to the well-being, engagement, enrichment and betterment of our community.

The Community Grant Program Policy, recently adopted by the City Council, outlines eligibility requirements and program guidelines to help you prepare a strong application.
Program Highlights
- The City Council allocated $30,000 for this grant cycle.
- There is no minimum or maximum funding amount per request.
- Funds will be issued prospectively within 30 days after awards are approved on December 16, 2025 - this is not a reimbursement program.
Award Evaluation Criteria
Grant awards will be based on the applicant's ability to demonstrate the following:
- A clear community need for the proposed program, service, or event.
- The overall benefit to American Canyon residents.
- The extent to which the organization gives back to the community.
Key Dates

November 14, 2025 - Application Deadline at 5:00 p.m. Submit your application via the link above.

December 11, 2025 - Parks and Community Services Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Qualified American Canyon nonprofits are expected to attend and provide a presentation to the Commission

December 16, 2025 - City Council Award Consideration. Award recommendations will be presented to the Council. This is a public evaluation process; attendance by nonprofit representatives is not required at this meeting.
