Hello AmCan,
April is finally here, and we have some exciting adventures lined up for you! Summer program registration kicks off Tuesday, April 8 for American Canyon residents and Tuesday, April 22 for non-residents. Whether you’re looking to dive into new activities, meet awesome people, or just have a fun-filled blast this summer, we’ve got something for everyone. Mark your calendars, set your reminders, and get ready to make this summer unforgettable.
And speaking of fun, join us for Soro’s Recess on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Gadwall Park. It’s the perfect way to kick off the month with a day full of play, laughter, and good vibes. Grab your friends, bring your energy and come down to hang out with Soro!
Then, on Saturday, April 12, come hang out with us at the Wetlands from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. for the American Canyon Trails Community Program, where we’ll celebrate and acknowledge our beautiful trails and immerse ourselves in nature. Afterward, hop on over to the Napa Junction Community Center for our Bunny Brunch, featuring fun games, a photo with the bunny, an egg hunt, and more! Be sure to register here to participate.
We also have something special planned for Earth Day on Saturday, April 19. Come out and volunteer at the Wetlands from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a hands-on project to help keep our planet healthy and happy. Let’s make a difference together, sign up today!
And, of course, don’t forget about the Community Recognition Ball on Saturday, April 26, from 5 - 9 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel (3600 Broadway). It’s a night to celebrate all the amazing people in our community who make a difference through their volunteerism, so be sure to purchase your tickets now!
