American Canyon Invites Community to 2025 State of the City Events
AMERICAN CANYON, CA, Feb. 12, 2025 - The City of American Canyon is inviting residents to engage with their local government, celebrate community achievements and look ahead to the future at its annual State of the City events.
The State of the City is more than just an update — it’s an opportunity for the community to connect, learn about key city initiatives and interact with City leaders. The annual State of the City publication, available online at AmericanCanyon.gov/StateOfTheCity, was recently mailed to all residences. The publication is packed with updates on city services, projects and community highlights. This year, the City is hosting two special events to bring these updates to life:
City Hall “Meet the Council” Open House
- Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025 | 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- City Hall, 4381 Broadway
- This interactive open house invites residents to meet the new City Council, connect with City staff and explore engaging “Live, Work and Play” stations featuring exclusive video highlights of key initiatives. Attendees will enjoy free food, kids’ activities and a raffle.
Adult Activity Center Open House
- Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025 | 11 a.m.
- Adult Activity Center, 2185 Elliott Drive
- Designed with the active adult community in mind, this event provides a relaxed setting to view the full State of the City video, featuring Mayor Washington’s remarks and insights into city projects. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with Council Members and City staff in meaningful discussions.
“The State of the City is a chance for us to come together, reflect on our progress and share what’s ahead,” said Mayor Pierre Washington. “We encourage everyone to join us, ask questions and celebrate what makes American Canyon a great place to live, work and play.”
