As we step into 2025 with renewed energy and optimism, let's take a moment to reflect on all we’ve achieved together in 2024. This past year has been one of growth, connection and community impact. From enhancing our parks and facilities to hosting unforgettable events and programs, we’ve made incredible strides in creating spaces and opportunities for us to come together.
We’re proud of the partnerships we have built, like the one with the American Canyon Chamber of Commerce. Our Magic of the Season Holiday Market Place and Tree Lighting was truly magical and enchanting — you can view images here. These traditions reflect the heart of our community, celebrating the many different families and cultures that make American Canyon so special.

Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 - ACT (American Canyon Trails) Community Program: Join us for a special one-day event experiencing the magic of the wetlands.

Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025 - Snowball Shutdown: Sixth through eighth graders are welcomed to a fun-filled afternoon with soft snowballs, a hot chocolate bar and exciting activities.

Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 - Recreation Exposition: Get ready for an exclusive sneak peek at what’s in store for Summer 2025! Participate and snag 10% off our summer camp options.
Registration for our Winter/Spring programs and services, running from January through April, is now open! Explore our full list of programs, community events, volunteer opportunities and rentals by clicking here. Please note that indoor rentals are available, but any outdoor rentals are closed for the winter season with an anticipated reopening date of March 1, 2025.
2024 has been an incredible year of growth for the Parks and Recreation Department. We’ve embraced changes and opportunities to better serve you and strategically plan offerings that bring our community closer together. So grab your party hat, your favorite beverage (hot cocoa, anyone?) and your 2025 planner because this year we’re dreaming big, working hard and making every moment count.
