AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., November 18, 2024 - On Saturday, November 16, 2024, just before 10:00 a.m., American Canyon Police Officers identified a silver Ford Fusion linked to organized retail theft incidents in Napa County. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled southbound on Highway 29, leading officers on a high-speed chase into Vallejo and westbound on Highway 37.

The pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed into a marsh off Highway 37. Both the driver, 27-year-old Daesharee Logan of San Rafael, and the passenger, 33-year-old Marquis Lewis of San Francisco, fled on foot but were quickly apprehended. Logan was arrested for felony evading and resisting arrest, while Lewis was arrested for resisting arrest, providing false information to police, and a Napa warrant. Both were booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
