Unregistered firearm seized during arrest
AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., November 4, 2024 - On the afternoon of Saturday, November 2, 2024, American Canyon Police stopped a white Chevy Camaro in the area of Flosden and Via Bellagio Road that had been linked to sideshow activity in Richmond, CA. Officers identified the driver as 22-year-old Donovan Edwards, an American Canyon resident.
During the stop, an unregistered loaded Glock 17 handgun was found in the vehicle. Edwards was subsequently arrested on felony charges for carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm and possessing a concealed firearm. He was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
