Hello,
The Halloween spirit is creeping into town, and we’re ready to celebrate with festive fun!
If you’re on the ‘haunt’ for spooky season festivities and want to support the community, look no further. There are plenty of ‘fang-tastic’ Halloween events lined up this month for residents of all ages:
Even though Halloween is supposed to be full of fright, it’s important to stay safe! Whether you’re trick-or-treating in your neighborhood or at one of our community events, remember to:
- Cross the street at corners and crosswalks
- Use glow sticks, flashlights or reflective tape on costumes and bags to stay visible
- Drive slowly and be alert for children passing by (especially during the hours between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.)
Stay safe and happy haunting!
Take care, Jason B. Holley City Manager

American Canyon Artist Paints Mural Commemorating the Napa Valley Community Foundation's 30th Anniversary
Congratulations to American Canyon artist Sebastian Pridmore (center of photo) for being selected to paint a mural commemorating the Napa Valley Community Foundation's 30th Anniversary. Sebastian's design, titled "Esperanza," was selected from over a dozen entries and unveiled on Thursday at the Community Foundation's anniversary celebration in Napa. Sebastian makes his own paints using natural materials. For this project, he incorporated local soil and char material from the 2020 fires to represent the growth and resilience of the Napa Valley. Congratulations, Sebastian!
