AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., May 2, 2024, 12:00 PM - On May 2, 2024, shortly after 12:00 AM, American Canyon Police stopped a red Honda Civic in the 3600 block of Broadway for not having a license plate. The car was occupied by 18-year-old Vallejo resident Mahaj Mabrey, 19-year-old Vallejo resident Trevon Jackson and a 17-year-old minor on felony probation in Solano County for a prior illegal firearms charge.

During a search of their car, officers located a non-serialized .40 caliber illegal “Ghost Gun.” The gun was loaded with a 22 round magazine and had additional alterations making it into a fully automatic weapon. All three occupants were placed under arrest for felony charges related to possession of the firearm. The juvenile was arrested for additional charges for his warrant, violation of his probation and for providing a false name to officers. Mabrey and Jackson were booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections and the 17-year-old was booked into juvenile hall.
