Kristin Einberger Awarded the 2024 American Canyon Gateway Award for Exceptional Volunteerism and Community Service
AMERICAN CANYON, CA, April 29, 2024 - American Canyon proudly hosted a Volunteer Recognition Ball on April 27, 2024, at the Double Tree Hotel in American Canyon. This event was a testament to the invaluable contributions of numerous nonprofit and community organizations. Their hard work, dedication, and countless volunteer hours have not only made American Canyon the best place to live, work, and play, but have also enriched our community life. American Canyon's well-attended programs, services, and community events are a direct result of these partnerships. The community nominated 14 individuals for the esteemed American Canyon 2024 Gateway Award, including Tony Heuschel, Kasama Lee, Kristin Einberger, Lorrie King, Skiler Padilla, Powell Helms Sr., Cory Ball, Brenda Burke, Valerie Zizak-Morais, Arvind Nischal, Hugh Marquez, Andrea Long, Tove Ann Caubig, and Jesse Corpus.
A committee comprised of American Canyon City Council Members and past Gateway Award recipients undertook a rigorous selection process to choose the 2024 American Canyon Gateway Award winner. After careful consideration, Kristin Einberger emerged as the deserving recipient. Kristin received multiple nominations for her exceptional work with the Soroptimist of American Canyon, the American Canyon Parks and Community Services Commission, the Kiwanis Club of American Canyon, the American Canyon Relay for Life, and her volunteerism at the Adult Activity Center teaching classes to the American Canyon senior community.
“Kristin has been the driving force of this wonderful group of ladies that encourage and empower women and girls. We would not be here without her determination, guidance, friendship, and leadership. Kristin should be a Gateway Award winner for all that she has done over the years in American Canyon.” These heartfelt words were shared by the community member who nominated Kristin Einberger for the American Canyon Gateway Award, reflecting the deep appreciation and respect for her contributions.
