Teacher at American Canyon High School arrested on campus

AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., April 9, 2024, 4:15 PM - In the late afternoon of April 8, 2024, American Canyon Police received information that 41-year-old American Canyon High School teacher, Brad Rowell, was allegedly involved in inappropriate behavior with a minor. 

The following morning, after further investigation into the allegations, Napa Sheriff's Detectives arrested Rowell on campus. Rowell was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections for three felony charges, which include 288.3(a) PC, contact with a minor for sexual offense, 311.3(a) PC, sexual exploitation of a child, and 311.11(a) PC, possession of obscene matter with a person under 18. Rowell is being held at Napa County Department of Corrections on $100,000 bail.
