Two Arrests Made From Yesterday’s Shooting In American Canyon
AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., April 2, 2024, 11:30 AM - Napa County Sheriff’s Detectives have arrested two suspects in connection to the shooting incident that occurred April 1 (approximately 4:30 PM) in the Safeway parking lot in American Canyon. The incident started after an altercation, which escalated into gunfire. No innocent bystanders suffered injuries and officers who responded to the scene were not involved in the shooting. The three subjects, who were transported to the hospital yesterday, have not been released. Detectives are actively working the investigation.
This morning, 18-year-old Christian Evans, a Vallejo resident, was arrested for multiple felony charges, which include attempted murder. In addition, late last night, a male juvenile from Vallejo was arrested for attempted murder and possession of a concealable firearm by a minor, which are felonies. Both Evans and the juvenile are currently being held without bail.
