Arrest made for domestic violence after standoff with officers
AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., October 18, 2023 - On Wednesday afternoon just after 4:00 PM, the American Canyon Police were called to the 600 block of Danrose Drive for a report of a family disturbance. Once there, officers learned that 46-year-old suspect Ernesto Solorio barricaded himself in the house with firearms after pushing the victim during a family disturbance. The victim was able to leave the house after the incident and called police for help. Neighbors in the area were asked to shelter in place while officers negotiated with Solorio to peacefully come out of the house and surrender. After approximately two hours, Solorio surrendered to police and was taken into custody. Solorio was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections for domestic violence and false imprisonment.
