Residential Burglary Investigation Leads to Arrest and Property Recovery by American Canyon Police Department
AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., June 7, 2023, 11:30 AM - On May 14, 2023, American Canyon Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a residential burglary that occurred when the residents were away from home over the weekend. Thousands of dollars in collectible items, personal items, and a firearm were stolen from their home. American Canyon Police investigated the incident and developed leads in the case. On 06/06/23, shortly after 1:00 AM, American Canyon Police made a traffic stop on suspect 20-year-old Isaac Terrell of Vallejo. During the traffic stop, Terrell was in possession of several stolen items from the residential burglary and was wearing one of their stolen items. Terrel was also in possession of a concealed firearm hidden in the center console of his car. Following Terrell’s arrest at the traffic stop, officers authored a search warrant for Terrell’s residence in Vallejo. Multiple other stolen items from the burglary were found in his home, along with a short-barrel rifle. American Canyon Police booked Terrell into the Napa County Department of Corrections for multiple felony charges, including fraudulent use of an access card, carrying a loaded firearm, and possession of stolen property.
