Traffic Stop in American Canyon Leads to Warrant Arrests and

Another Illegal Gun Off the Street

AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., February 13, 2023 - On Sunday morning, February 12, 2023, an American Canyon Police Officer made a traffic enforcement stop at Kimberly Drive and Brophy Street when the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. The driver of the 2007 gold Honda Civic was identified as 20-year-old Jordan Delgadillo of Vallejo. Delgadillo had an unregistered loaded 9mm handgun concealed in his waistband when contacted by officers. The firearm was not serialized, and it had a high-capacity 33 round magazine. The male passenger of the vehicle provided a false name to officers to conceal his identity. However, officers learned he was 21-year-old Urial Vasquez of Napa. Vasquez had four outstanding felony warrants in Napa and Solano Counties, one of which was for violation of his court probation terms related to his participation in an illegal street gang. He was arrested for his warrants and for providing false identification to police officers. Delgadillo was arrested for carrying a concealed loaded firearm and possession of a non-serialized handgun. Both Vasquez and Delgadillo were booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections. This is the fourth illegal firearm located by American Canyon Police Officers in two days.
