Hello,
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. It was great seeing everyone at the parade and festivities. We were excited to add the dunk tank as one of our booth activities this year. Look for us again next year with the dunk tank for a chance to dunk Officer Patterson and me.
ACPD appreciates all the social media followings and supports the community gives to us on Facebook and Instagram. We have been receiving reports of crime and suspicious activities on our social media pages and Nextdoor. Unfortunately, we cannot monitor these 24/7 for crime reporting. For us to better serve the community, we request the reports go through our dispatch center, (707) 253-4451, or 911 for an emergency.
Now that things are getting back to normal, we encourage the neighborhood watch groups to start meeting regularly and in person. If you haven't already, be sure to join Lobo's Pack - American Canyon's Neighborhood Watch at CityofAmericanCanyon.org/LobosPack. This will ensure you receive our updates. If your neighborhood is having a meeting, please feel free to invite ACPD. We can provide helpful information to your participants and would love to join you. If you'd like to invite us, please email our Community Resource Officer, Maureen Patterson, at maureen.patterson@countyofnapa.org.
August 2, 2022, is National Night Out, and we are so excited to come out and join all the neighborhood block parties. If you are interested in hosting a block party, sign up here.
Respectfully,
Rick Greenberg Chief of Police
