Hello,
I'm sending a special edition update regarding all the fabulous events coming up. The calendar is full of opportunities to gather for fun and support great causes. Here is a collective list, with links to access more details. I look forward to seeing you all soon.
The City hosted a Traffic Calming Workshop last night. The informative presentation included:
- Overview of Existing Streets, Funding, & Partners
- Traffic Safety Project Updates & Plans
- Traffic Calming Program Overview
- Traffic Citations & Collision Statistics
- We ❤ Safe Streets - Public Outreach Campaign
- Participant Questions & Comments
As a community, each of us contributes to the success of ensuring American Canyon remains the best place to live, work, and play safely. I encourage you to take the time to watch the meeting recording and visit the We ❤ Safe Streets Campaign Page.
Traffic calming and safety is a high priority for all of us. Our team is dedicated to working toward solutions and facilitating a safe culture in our neighborhoods. But we can't do it alone! The collective safety of our roadways depends on the individual choices we all make. It also depends on all of us working together. There are opportunities to share your thoughts on roadway safety issues, submit specific concerns to us, and, most importantly, pledge your commitment to becoming a part of the solution. Visit the We ❤ Safe Streets Campaign Page to check it all out!
Take care,
Jason B. Holley City Manager
