American Canyon Teen Hit by SUV
AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., March 10, 2022, 12:30 PM –On Wednesday March 9th at approximately 3:00 PM, the American Canyon Police Department (ACPD) was dispatched to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision, in the area of Silver Oak Trail and Toscana.
Officers arrived on scene and found a 15 year old male juvenile in the roadway with moderate injuries. The driver of the black GMC SUV did not sustain any injuries. CHP airs ops provided an air transport to Oakland’s Children Hospital.
Witness’s say the teen did not use the crosswalk and speed does not look to be a factor in the collision, but it is still under investigation. If anyone witnessed the accident please call dispatch at (707) 253-4451.
