Residential Structure Fire on the 100 Block of Kimberly Drive

AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., - On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 10:16 am, the American Canyon Fire Protection District responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the 100 block of Kimberly Drive. ACFPD crews arrived on scene, within four minutes of the dispatch, to find a single-story residence involved with heavy smoke and flames showing.

The residence was cleared and no one was located inside. No injuries were sustained. Residences on both sides of the structure were evacuated by the American Canyon Police Department as a precautionary measure.

American Canyon Fire Protection District received mutual aid from Napa County Fire Department, Vallejo Fire Department and, Napa City Fire Department. American Canyon Police Department assisted with evacuations. American Canyon CERT assisted with traffic control. American Medical Response and the American Red Cross also assisted on scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
