American Canyon Launches New and Improved Recreation
Registration Tool
AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., January 24, 2022 – The City of American Canyon Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programs, classes, and activities for all ages. Today, it is easier than ever to register for any activity with the launch of the City's new recreation registration platform, CivicRec.
"Our City staff is passionate about innovating the way our community accesses American Canyon services," said American Canyon Mayor Leon Garcia. "CivicRec brings about a necessary update to our registration system that will allow our residents greater access to our parks and recreation programs and activities. We're eager to share this new tool with our community."
CivicRec is designed to be intuitive to navigate and easy for residents to use. Residents can effortlessly search, sign up, and pay for activities, classes, sports, and youth leagues within the platform. The new tool is mobile-friendly, allowing users to quickly complete online registration directly from a smartphone or tablet.
The new platform is live and will begin accepting registration for the City's March, April, and May classes on February 9th. To start using the tool, residents may create an account at CityOfAmericanCanyon.Org/Recreation. Residents who previously registered for classes through the City's former registration tool, Activenet, must still create a new account with CivicRec. The City encourages residents to keep their entire household under one account. Within the account, residents may add household members as users.
"Our recreation classes for March and April are now viewable on CivicRec," said American Canyon Parks and Recreation Director Alexandra Ikeda. "We invite residents to create an account today and begin exploring our large selection of programs and activities. Beginning February 9th, residents can instantly reserve a spot from their computer, tablet, or phone 24/7."
