The National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a Red Flag Warning which is in effect from 11 PM Monday, October 19th, through 8:00 AM Wednesday, October 21st. Newell Open Space is closed. http://nixle.us/C9RBA?l=en
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, dry conditions, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
