Report Suspicious Activity to (707) 253-4451
Message from the Chief
We are kicking off new efforts in our Neighborhood Watch connections to meet the current challenges of not being able to gather for neighborhood meetings. If you are interested in hosting a virtual neighborhood gathering, please get in touch with Community Resource Officer Jeff Scott here. We can facilitate a Zoom Neighborhood Watch meeting and connect with you that way.
As these difficult times continue to challenge us, we are noticing an increase in transient foot traffic around town. We've also had numerous reports of encampments in the greenbelt areas of the city. Please let us know if you see encampments being built up by calling (707) 253-4451. There are resources available that we can connect folks with, to help get them back on their feet.
The officers appreciate your continued support and partnership to keep the community safe. We also miss you, seeing you at coffee, around town, and at community events. To that end, we hope to make a Virtual Coffee with the Cops during August. I also want to thank all of our residents for your continued commitment to public health, your patience, and your resiliency. Our residents and businesses are truly #amcanstrong
Respectfully,
Oscar Ortiz Police Chief |
