Hello,
As I look out my office window, I see a sprinkle of rain and give thanks the cooler weather has arrived! Did you know that the four long days of PSPS darkness in American Canyon coincided with Diwali - the Indian Celebration of Lights? My friend, Arvind Nischal, will tell you the Diwali Celebration spirit signifies triumph of good over evil, righteousness over treachery, truth over falsehood, and light over darkness. Whether you knew it or not, everyone in American Canyon celebrated Diwali this year by lighting candles and lanterns during the PSPS shutoff. As we look forward to celebrating Thanksgiving in our individual ways, please take a moment and give thanks for your Diwali spirit.
