The Alameda County Healthy Homes
Department is pleased to announce funding and technical assistance is
now available for properties with low-income occupants in the
following areas:
Alameda, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland and the unincorporated areas of
Ashland, Cherryland and San Lorenzo:
- Lead hazard repair work in pre-1978 homes of low-income
families with young children
Albany and Dublin:
- Minor home repair grants including plumbing,
carpentry, electrical, railings, grab bars, toilets, water heaters,
furnaces, door, locks and more
Fremont and Union City:
- Major housing rehabilitation including roofs, furnace,
electrical, termite and dry rot work, low water pressure, water pipe
replacement, stair repairs and more.
