Alameda County HCD has developed a tool to assist local government staff in evaluating our partners financial capacity.  This is a hands-on computer based training program.  The training is open to local government housing and services staff who work with non profits and who must evaluate their financial capacity as part of the contracting process.  This tool will help you evaluate whether or not the organization has a strong enough financial health to carry out the work under your contract.

To sign up for the training, please email Yolanda.Robles@acgov.org  and reserve your space quickly.

This training was developed specifically for housing programs to meet new Federal Housing and Urban Development Department (HOME Program) requirements, but can be used for most types of service providers.   This training will explain how to use the organization’s annual financial audit to evaluate its financial performance using key indicators.

Please forward this email to others if you are not the appropriate staff at your organization to attend.

The training will be held at Alameda County Social Services’ Thomas Berkley Building, 2000 San Pablo, Oakland in Room 333.
