Updates from the Alameda County

Yesterday, a new indoor masking order easing some requirements in indoor settings where everyone is fully vaccinated. Eligible settings must be controlled spaced not open to the general public, including offices, gyms, religious gatherings, and other organized gatherings where a group gathers on a regular basis. Indoor masking orders remain in effect for public settings, such as bars, restaurants, stores, and K-12 school settings.

Under the new Health Officer Order, participating businesses, organizations, or hosts must verify that all patrons, employees, and attendees are fully vaccinated before allowing people to participate without face coverings inside their facilities. These facilities are limited to no more than 100 persons present.
