This comprehensive overview will teach you how to retrieve documents by citation, navigate through the search interface, and use KeyCite. Learn how to search with WestSearch, advanced search functions, Boolean terms and connectors, the West Key Number System, and how to retrieve specific content.

About the speaker: Jonathan Dorsey received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. At Hastings, he wrote for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, and externed at the California Court of Appeal. His practice experience includes civil litigation as well as in-house work. He has been with Thomson Reuters for 8 years.

In partnership with the Alameda County Library system, the Alameda County Law Library received grants from the California State Library to establish the Legal Resource Collection @ Fremont Library (New in 2021!) and the Legal Resource Collection @ Dublin Library.
