Updates from the Alameda County Public Health Department
Due to the continued increase COVID-19 cases and increased prevalence of the highly transmissible Delta variant in our community, the Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD) strongly recommends everyone – whether vaccinated or unvaccinated – wears masks in indoor public places.
If you are unvaccinated, you must continue to wear a mask in all indoor public settings, such as movie theaters and restaurants. Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, must continue to wear masks certain settings, such as on public transit or healthcare settings. For more information on when to wear a mask, please visit ACPHD's Face Covering page.
When in doubt, be safe and wear a mask!
