ARE YOU VOTE READY?
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO VOTE IN ALAMEDA COUNTY
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the State of California has ordered the November 3, 2020, General Election to be conducted as an all-mail ballot election. All registered voters in California will receive a vote-by-mail ballot in the mail before the election.
Because more voters than usual will be voting by mail this year - here and across the country - it is very likely that election results may be delayed. However, rest assured that ballots will be counted as they always are, through a safe and secure process. Your vote counts and your voice matters!
To make sure you receive your ballot, double-check your voter registration at acvote.org/mvp
Not registered yet? Visit registertovote.ca.gov to register online.
The deadline to register to vote online is Monday, October 19, 2020.
Same Day Voter Registration: Although it is best that you register by the deadline, if you miss it, you can still vote! Same Day Voter Registration, or Conditional Voter Registration, is a safety net for Californians who miss the deadline to register to vote or update their voter registration information for an election.
