Alameda County HCD is pleased to announce that Eden Housing is accepting applications for the lottery waitlist for a County-funded senior housing development in Alameda. Applicants may apply through a newly launched Alameda County Housing Portal: https://housing.acgov.org/. The application deadline for the 29 available units of senior housing is April 24, 2020 at 4pm.
Over the coming months, Alameda County HCD will be expanding the Housing Portal to include additional listings, a common short form application, and a product that allows developers to manage the waitlist and lease-up aspects of the work. The full website will also be translated to provide broader accessibility.
Alameda County joins three other Bay Area jurisdictions in launching efforts to create one-stop-shop housing portals: the City and County of San Francisco, the City of San Jose, and San Mateo County. The site was built by Exygy, an innovation and digital services studio based in San Francisco, California.
