Alameda County Census Outreach Grants - Due Friday!
As a reminder, the Alameda County Census Office issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) on July 11 in an effort to award grants to organizations who can demonstrate the ability to conduct Census 2020 education and outreach to Hard-to-Count communities throughout the county.
The RFP deadline is Friday, August 16 at 5pm (no late submissions will be permitted) . Click here for application and details, including RFP questions and answers.

Additional Funding Opportunities
The County Census Office intends to fund technology implementation (NEW: Technology RFI application due September 6) and smaller outreach projects through mini-grants which will launch with the Census Ambassador program on September 16.

Update: Countdown to the Count
The U.S. Census Bureau has begun its "Address Canvassing Operation," which is the process for verifying the address file in preparation for the 2020 Census. You may see U.S. Census Bureau staff out in your community and you can recognize them by their official badge, computer, and bag. This short video provides more information.
