Alameda County Census Outreach Grants
As a reminder, the Alameda County Census Office issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) on July 11 in an effort to award grants to organizations who can demonstrate the ability to conduct Census 2020 education and outreach to Hard-to-Count communities throughout the county. Grants range between $5,000 - $50,000, and are intended to support organizations outreach efforts. Please note that the County Census Office also intends to fund technology implementation (application will be posted next week) and smaller outreach projects through mini-grants (applications will be available in mid-September).
The RFP deadline is Friday, August 16 at 5pm. Click here for application and details, including RFP questions and answers (updated August 1).
Sub-committee Meetings
We've hosted a dozen subcommittee meetings throughout July. Thank you to all those that participated, we are actively working to incorporate your input. All meeting notes can be found here and on the right side of this message.
