In this introductory child development training, participants will learn some basics about brain development, communication and language development and social-emotional development. .  Nominations are being accepted for the 25th Annual Alameda County Women’s Hall of Fame which honors extraordinary women making a difference in the community. Honorees will be celebrated at the 25th Annual Alameda County Women’s Hall of Fame luncheon and awards ceremony on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Oakland. Co-hosting the event will be the Alameda County Board of Supervisors and the Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women.

discussion on the power of media and the role young Black and Brown people play
