A Message From the Supervisor

Friend,
Greetings and Happy 2017! I want to take a brief moment to extend my
gratitude once more to all who attended and/or contributed to my 5th Annual
Holiday Open House Food & Toy Drive in December. It was a pleasure to
see so many new faces and to visit with many long-time constituents, community
leaders, colleagues and friends. Your tremendous generosity is deeply
appreciated. This event resulted in the largest collection, to date, of
non-perishable food items, books and toys, all of which went on to help bring a brighter
holiday to hundreds of local children and families. Thank you again.

As I begin my 6th term in office, I
remain honored by the privilege to serve and represent the great people of
District 1. Alameda County continues to be recognized
as one of the best counties in which to live, work, and do business— and
rightfully so! 2017 promises to be
another busy, exciting and productive year in District 1 and in Alameda County. I look forward to sharing the latest in news and updates in newsletters to come
throughout the year.
