California State Law SB655 requires change in the way programs and services respond when mold is found in homes in Alameda County.
The Alameda County Healthy Homes Department continues to champion housing policy & programs that improve community health by offering a dynamic new workshop for those of us needing to adapt our programs and services.
The workshop is open to private and public sector professionals and community leaders working to resolve mold problems in single-family and multi-family homes throughout Alameda County.
You are encouraged to invite a small team from your non-profit or for-profit organization to help jumpstart change when you get back to the office.
Seating is limited to enable us to work collaboratively.
When you register, you will be asked to select a "ticket type" based on the role you have in the implementation of SB655: Tenants Advocates & Community Orgs, For-profit/Non-profit Property Owners/Managers, Private Consultants/Service Providers, Compliance Professionals & Gov Agency Staff.
Speakers currently include:
Mr. Larry Brooks, Director of Operations at Alameda County Healthy Homes Dept
Dr. Mark Mendell, Ph.D. - California Department of Public Health
Mr. Clifford E. Fried, Esq. - Fried and Williams, LLP
Mr. David Lo - San Francisco Department of Public Health, Children’s Environmental Health Promotion Program
