City of Tucson Announces Request for Proposals for Supportive Services

The City of Tucson is seeking applications from eligible non-profit organizations with capacity to provide one or both of the following services for residents of the Tucson House public housing property as part of its Choice Neighborhoods initiative to reinvest in the Tucson House and surrounding 85705 neighborhood:

  • Low-barrier employment services
  • Light housekeeping services and education

Funding provided through this solicitation will be awarded in the form of General Fund grant provided by the City of Tucson. 

Eligible applicants include not-for-profit and government entities with demonstrated experience providing the services solicited.

Applications will be accepted until 11:59pm Arizona time on May 5, 2025. A virtual pre-proposal conference will be held from 3:30pm-4:30pm on April 24, 2025.  All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.

Business Operations Administrator

This position will help manage the annual departmental budget of approximately $85 million. HCD is responsible for administering U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs and entitlement grant programs. HCD leverages these resources to support development of affordable rental housing, homeownership and repair programs, and homeless services.
