The annual Tucson Meet Yourself Festival, presented by Rio Nuevo, is a celebration of the living traditional arts of Southern Arizona's and Northern Mexico's diverse ethnic and folk communities. The festival will take place in Jácome Plaza in downtown Tucson beginning Friday, October 7 through Sunday, October 9, 2022.

Bear Down Fridays is a free community event that brings together thousands of UA students, alumni, fans and Tucsonans for a pep rally on the Friday night before every Wildcat home football game.
2nd Saturdays returns this Saturday, October 8 to Downtown Tucson!
Every 2nd Saturday of the month from 5 pm - 10 pm Downtown Tucson's streets, restaurants and venues will be buzzing with business, shows and concerts and as always, the Scott Avenue outdoor stage will also be proudly showcasing Tucson's best LIVE MUSIC, with loads of street food and food truck options along with plenty of shopping opportunities for all-local, handmade and uniquely Tucson food and products.

Park Tucson now offers 2 mobile apps for fast and convenient parking payment directly from a smartphone.
For Parking Garages - The Entervo Smart Pay app allows visitors to pay at any of the five Park Tucson public garages, including Centro, Depot Plaza, Pennington Street, Library and City-State.
For Parking Meters & Surface Lots - The GoTucson Parking app is the easiest way to pay for metered parking in Downtown Tucson, 4th Avenue, and Main Gate Square.
On Thursday, October 6, 2022, beginning at 6 a.m., Stone Avenue south of Sixth Street to Franklin Street/Toole Avenue, including the Stone Avenue underpass, is scheduled to close to all northbound and southbound travel. This closure will be in place while the contractor installs a bicycle and pedestrian bridge over Stone Avenue.
Southbound travel into downtown is scheduled to reopen by 11 a.m. on Friday, October 7, and northbound travel is scheduled to reopen by 4 p.m. on Friday.
