Ward 4 Back to School Bash Postponed Due to Severe Weather Emergency
Tucson, AZ—The 20th Annual Ward 4 Back to School Bash, scheduled for Saturday, July 24, has been postponed due to severe weather. The National Weather Service has a flash flood warning in effect for the area until Saturday evening.
The Ward 4 office was encouraged to postpone the Back to School Bash by all three city public safety departments: Tucson Police Department, Tucson Fire Department, and Public Safety 911 Communications. People are encouraged to stay off the road tomorrow due to the risk of severe flooding.
The Back to School Bash has been rescheduled to Wednesday, July 28 from 4-6 PM. It will remain a drive-thru format at the Ward 4 office: 8123 E Poinciana Drive.
