CITY OF TUCSON HOSTS MOBILE MASK DISTRIBUTION EVENTS FREE TO THE PUBLIC
Thanks to the Mayor and Tucson City Council, we are hosting mobile mask giveaway events at multiple locations and times throughout the city as an opportunity for community members to obtain washable face coverings for themselves and their families.
Wearing a face covering is one of the best ways, along with proper hand-washing and practicing social/physical distancing, to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The Mayor and Tucson Council is committed to keeping our community safe and has thousands more washable ear loop cloth masks to help those who have not been able to get them. There will be two sizes available, a child size, that has adjustable ear pieces and can easily fit a small adult, and a large adult size.
The first three distribution events will be as follows:
Thursday, Sept. 17, 5-7 p.m. Quincie Douglas Center parking lot, 1575 E. 36th St.
Tuesday, Sept. 22, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Parks and Recreation Administration, 900 S. Randolph Way
Thursday, Sept. 24, 5-7 p.m. William M. Clements Center, 8155 E. Poinciana Drive
Find out where the mobile mask distribution events will be held next by following the City of Tucson event page on Facebook or Twitter.
Masks will be provided throughout the event or until they have all been distributed. The events will be set up as drive-thrus, where community members can drive up to the site, advise how many masks they need, and the masks will be passed out. Bike-up and walk-up requests are also welcome.
City staff supporting this event will be using appropriate PPE and social distancing while distributing the masks. This is only an event for face-covering/mask distribution. This is not a COVID-19 testing event.

Administración de Parques y Recreación, 900 S. Randolph Way
