Why the Mesa General Business License is essential
Securing a Mesa General Business License is a crucial step toward the success of your small business: it ensure that you are operating legally within city regulations; it establishes credibility and professionalism with your customers, suppliers, and partners; it reassures others that your business is legitimate and trustworthy; it gives you access to valuable city resources, such as workshops, grants, and networking opportunities that can aid in the growth of your business.
For a limited time, eligible small businesses that apply by June 30 and receive their Mesa General Business License may activate a free, one-year membership to the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA), valued at $350. In addition, the license opens the door to the Mesa Business Builder (MBB) Small Business Assistance Program, which can be worth $2,000 or more in free customized business consulting and programs.

Next Phase: Now open – Mesa’s program to empower future retail innovators
Next Phase is a program from the Mesa Chamber of Commerce Foundation, designed to develop, educate, and promote the next generation of retail talent and business owners in Mesa.
In collaboration with Superstition Springs Center, local schools, and the Mesa Chamber of Commerce’s large network, Next Phase provides a hands-on space where entrepreneurs can develop and refine their retail concepts while existing businesses can strengthen key skills to help them grow.
