Renew Mesa General Business License 30 days BEFORE expiration
While your business license is valid for a full 12 months, you must renew your license at least 30 days before expiration to avoid the time to reapply. The City’s Business Services Department sends notifications about your renewal 90 and 60 days prior to expiration. You’ll also receive a notification 29 days prior about steps for reapplying if you miss the 30-day deadline, which is written into the license ordinance.
When you renew the license for your business location, you just need to make sure all the information is updated (such as business ownership and contact information). If you have a change of location, then you will need a new license.
If you let your license expire, having to reapply rather than renew means you need to upload information about your business, such as your Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization and Licensing Eligibility Form.
Renewals remain at the $10 introductory rate through the end of 2023. Not licensed? Find instructions for applying and FAQs at: https://www.mesaaz.gov/business/licensing/mesa-general-business-license
