Mesa Business Builder offers resources and tools provided through the City of Mesa to help you strengthen and grow your business. These resources and tools include MesaBusinessBuilder.com, the Small Business Assistance Program, Mesa HUUB, LaunchPoint, and the Small Business Studios.
MesaBusinessBuilder.com is a one-stop online resource catalog to help businesses starting up or operating in Mesa. It offers a wealth of information for business concerns such as licensing, permitting, location assistance, financial assistance, business consulting and more.
Small Business Assistance Program provides FREE professional consulting covering an array of business concerns to improve competitiveness for qualified for-profit commercially or residentially located Mesa small businesses with less than 25 full-time employees. > LEARN MORE

LaunchPoint, The Mesa Technology Accelerator, located in Downtown Mesa, is a place that provides flexible office and lab space, networking, and connections to help entrepreneurs and early-stage companies launch and grow to create new jobs and capital investment in the community.
The Small Business Studios, located in Downtown Mesa is planned to open fall 2024. Featuring state-of-the-art space for collaboration, training, networking, hosting meetings, accessing assistance with navigating City processes, and workforce connections, it will offer conference rooms, a computer lab, technology tools and equipment, podcasting booths and editing equipment, and more.

ACT NOW: Apply for Arizona Good Business Summit scholarship worth $119
The City’s Office of Economic Development is giving 20 scholarships to Mesa small businesses to attend the 2023 Arizona Good Business Summit on Tuesday, April 4, at the Mesa Convention Center. Standard registration is $119.
At this premier business event presented by Local First Arizona, businesses and community leaders get together to discuss the dynamics and complexity of doing business in today’s world. Local and national experts – via workshops and panel discussions – share what it means to do good business. > EVENT DETAILS
To be considered for this special scholarship, businesses must be located in Mesa. Priority will be given to business entities that have their Mesa General Business License. The remainder of applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please submit your interest in attending the Arizona Good Business Summit via scholarship by emailing MesaBusinessBuilder@mesaaz.gov with the subject line: AZ Good Business Summit Scholarship. The last day to submit interest is March 22, 2023. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than Tuesday, March 28.
Planning to add a sign to your business?
Know the rules for signage in Mesa before making a costly mistake. New signs and existing sign modifications require permits, which can take a few days to process. Also, many local sign companies offer permit services as part of sign installation. Just ask what’s involved.

- The Workforce Center @ Mesa is holding a hiring event from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, at the Benedictine University Community Room, 225 E. Main St. in Downtown Mesa. The focus is on transportation and warehousing, manufacturing, healthcare and social services, construction, information technology, and finance and insurance.
