Lane Restriction: Gilbert Road at Thomas Road to State Route 87
Starting Monday, January 9 at 5:00 a.m. to early March 2023, northbound travel on Gilbert Road will be reduced to one lane at Thomas Road to State Route 87 (Beeline Highway) as Maricopa County Department of Transportation crews work on the Gilbert Road Bridge project at the Salt River crossing.
The lane restriction will be in place at all hours, including weekends and holidays.
Drivers should be alert for flaggers assisting trucks crossing Gilbert Road in the project area.
Please allow for extra time for travel, watch for construction workers, obey traffic control signs, and slow down in the work zone.
