Questions About COVID-19 Vaccines?
Partnership With Hospice Of The Valley
Maricopa County Public Health is grateful for its many community partners helping to distribute vaccine to eligible populations. We recently supplied Hospice of the Valley with vaccine to administer to their employees and volunteers who go into the homes of people who are terminally ill. These workers and volunteers are providing such an important service. We are happy to support them.

Volunteer Impact
Public Health has the best volunteers. Over the past year of the pandemic, 3,600 unique volunteers have dedicated nearly 55,000 hours to the pandemic response! You may not realize all the different ways our volunteers support Public Health. They answer questions from the public in our call center. They staff vaccination events. They deliver supplies to stakeholders including schools and long-term care facilities. They helped with our fall serosurvey to learn about the prevalence of COVID-19 in our community. And much more. To all of our Public Health volunteers, thank you!
