Where Should I Look For An Appointment?
There are more places than ever to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Large vaccination sites. Small pop-up events. Pharmacies. While demand still exceeds vaccine supply and appointments are limited, the number of vaccinators has increased which may improve your chances of finding a location near you. Check back regularly for options as the federal government increases its supply and allocations to pharmacies and other providers.
When making an appointment for your second dose, make sure you schedule your appointment at a location that offers the same type of vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) as you received for your first dose. Our website has an interactive map that allows you to search for vaccination locations based on vaccine type. Or you can search your city or ZIP code for the location nearest you.

Johnson and Johnson Vaccine
Public Health is carefully following the federal review of the Johnson and Johnson (Jansenn) vaccine. An FDA advisory committee will meet on Friday to consider emergency use authorization (EUA) of the vaccine which, if granted, would be the first one-dose COVID-19 vaccine available in the U.S. Currently, there are two COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use in the United States: Pfizer and Moderna. Both of these vaccines require two doses for full protection.
